The Full Story

       For over ten years, President and Founder, Austin Arvon, has been active in the credit risk management field of banking and lending. Working in community banks with asset sizes ranging from $1 billion to $4 billion paved a career path from entry-level Credit Analyst to Credit Officer, Vice President with a Credit Risk Certification from the Risk Management Association (RMA).

 

       As a previous member of the Ohio Bankers League and current member of the North Carolina Bankers League, Austin has continuously developed close relationships within the banking industry. His connection with numerous Loan Officers, Portfolio Managers, Consultants, and Bank Regulators associated with institutions of all sizes provided deep and invaluable insight on the most beneficial and useful types of analysis to apply in real-world scenarios. While working in a smaller community bank, attempting to complete the quality of high-level analysis prevalent in the large commercial banking sphere proved challenging with the limited resources available. Hence, the concept of a high-performance, cost-effective alternative originated.

       The goal was to accommodate and benefit actual employees in the finance industry, providing better ease of use while performing high level analysis. Piece by piece, these tools were developed as a way to enhance and improve the analysis and underwriting process related to both commercial and consumer risk management and lending. The efficiency of these tools and this program are due to the first-hand experience utilized in their creation and functionality. Austin, as well as several colleagues, use these tools daily as either a stand-alone Credit Analysis program or as an enhancement to their institution's primary underwriting software package. 

A program created by bankers for bankers, Arvanalytics is officially established as of October 2022.

A statement from the Founder:

       "I have worked with professionals of all skill levels from all sizes of lending institutions. This experience has provided me with insight as to what truly works. I saw tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars being spent by institutions on software and products to assist with their Financial and Credit Risk Management. Although these products can perform well and be effective, they typically bring along several hindrances. Complicated integration, large amounts of time committed to training, difficulty of use and comprehension, and  high levels of cost (the price of the product, installation, training, maintenance, and recurring fees) can often outweigh the benefits. That is why I decided to create an alternative. Rather than a subscription fee or a per-user cost, a one-time purchase of Arvanalytics allows for unlimited users of the product within the organization and essentially no effort required for installation and setup. Arvanalytics is able to perform, calculate, and analyze everything needed for sufficient credit risk analysis at a fraction of the cost while providing a familiar feel. The familiarity of Excel-based tools can be beneficial and inclusive for users of all skill levels. The beauty of Arvanalytics is that not only can it provide immense benefit to an institution's current software, it can also operate as a stand-alone Credit Risk Analysis program.
